Even in the middle of the Pacific

An independent opinion, where you are

Even here, on our rock in the middle of the Pacific, a survey can be essential to move a project forward: a sale, a purchase, administrative formalities or simply the need for an independent opinion.

We carry out surveys afloat, adapted to your situation and to the layout of your vessel.

Documented reports

Our commitment

A serious, independent survey

The aim: to give you a clear picture of the condition of the boat and let you move forward with confidence, whether you are in transit, planning a purchase or dealing with formalities.

We are not approved by insurance companies. If an approved surveyor is required, we prepare a complete technical file to make the next step easier.

Frequently asked questions

Do you carry out independent surveys and technical reports?

Yes. We carry out afloat surveys and detailed technical reports: visual inspection, underwater inspection if needed, photos, diagnosis, recommendations and estimated work. We are not approved by insurance companies: if an approved surveyor is required, we prepare a full technical file to make the next step easier.

What does a survey report contain?

The general condition of the boat, the critical points found, photos, priority recommendations, a rough cost estimate and, if needed, suggested local contractors.

Can your report be used for a sale or for local paperwork?

Yes. The valuation report can be used for buying or selling a boat, for registering it in French Polynesia (papeetisation) or for other local formalities.

Do you do full refits or major works in Nuku Hiva?

No. In Nuku Hiva we do not carry out full refits or major structural work. We do repairs, temporary fixes and targeted work so that the boat can reach a suitable yard, usually in Tahiti.

What should I do if my boat needs a major refit?

We carry out a technical audit and a detailed report (diagnosis, priorities, parts needed), then point you to a yard in Tahiti or another specialist centre. We can also coordinate the logistics: receiving parts, preparing the boat before haul-out, technical follow-up.
